"When Ross first passed these lyrics to me I was immediately struck by the anthem-like call for collectivity. As you would expect, the thoughts and expressions of such a seasoned and staunch unionist would directly reference the movement with a positive message of hope and determination. There are plenty of examples where ‘walking hand in hand’ has led to working people achieving amazing outcomes against great odds when the call has gone out around the globe for support.
